Son of Man, has not the house of Israel, the rebellious house, said to you: “What are you doing?” Therefore, O you Son of Man, speak to the house of Israel, saying: If our transgressions and our sins be upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live? The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression.
Behold: My servant shall deal prudently, He shall be exalted very high. Many were astonished: His visage was so marred, more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men. So, shall He sprinkle many nations: The kings shall shut their mouths at Him; for that which they had not heard, shall they consider. And I will pour the spirit of grace: And they shall look upon Me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for Him, as one mourns for his only son. Sigh, therefore, you Son of Man, with the breaking of your loins; and with bitterness sigh before their eyes. But you will not suffer your Holy One to see corruption. A seed shall serve Him: They shall come and shall declare His righteousness to a people that shall be born, that He has done this.
Who has believed our report? And to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed? For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: He has no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire Him. He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. Surely, He has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: Yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: The chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His stripes we are healed.
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way; and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed, and He was afflicted, yet He opened not His mouth: He is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so He opens not His mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment: And who shall declare His generation? For He was cut off out of the land of the living: For the transgression of My people was He stricken. And He made His grave with the wicked, and with the rich in His death; because He had done no violence, neither was any deceit in His mouth.
Yet, it pleased the Lord to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief: When you shall make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see his seed, He shall prolong His days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand. He shall see of the travail of His soul and shall be satisfied: By His knowledge shall My righteous servant justify many; for He shall bear their iniquities, because He has poured out His soul unto death. And He was numbered with the transgressors; and He bare the sin of many and made intercession for the transgressors.
He will swallow up Death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of His people shall He take away from off all the Earth: For the Lord has spoken it. And it shall be said in that Day: Lo, this is our God; we have waited for Him, and He will save us. This is the Lord; we have waited for Him, we will be glad and rejoice in His Salvation.
Sacrifice and offering, you did not desire. Then I said: Lo, I come; in the volume of the Book, it is written of Me. I have preached righteousness in the great congregation. In those days, they shall say no more: The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children's teeth are set on edge. But everyone shall die for his own iniquity. Behold, the days come, says the Lord, that I will make a new Covenant with the house of Israel: Not according to the Covenant that I made with their fathers in the Day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which My Covenant they brake; although I was a husband to them, says the Lord. But this shall be the Covenant that I will make with the house of Israel: After those days, I will put My Law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts.
Thus, I know that my Redeemer lives and that He shall stand at the latter day upon the Earth. But you should say: Why do we persecute Him, seeing the root of the matter is found in me?
The stone which the builders refused is become the headstone of the corner. So, they weighed for My price thirty pieces of silver. And I took the thirty pieces of silver and cast them to the potter in the house of the Lord.
Then, many bulls have compassed Me: They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion. I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaves to my jaws; and you have brought Me into the dust of death. For dogs have compassed Me, the assembly of the wicked have enclosed Me: They pierced My hands and My feet. I may tell all My bones: They look and stare upon Me. They part My garments among them and cast lots upon My garment. All they that see Me laugh to scorn; they shake the head, saying: He trusted on the Lord that He would deliver Him; let Him deliver Him, seeing He delighted in Him. In My thirst, they gave Me vinegar to drink…
And as the Lord God said to the serpent: Because you have done this, you are cursed; and I will put enmity between your seed and her seed; it shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel. Thus, the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and many people of Israel died. Then, the people came to Moses, and said: We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord; pray to the Lord, that He take away the serpents from us. And the Lord said: Make a fiery serpent and set it upon a pole; and everyone that is bitten, when he looks upon it, shall live. Thereafter, Jesus Christ began to teach them, that the Son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again: For as Jonas was a sign to the Ninevites, so shall also the Son of Man be to this generation, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of Man shall be accomplished. And as Moses lifted-up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted-up.
Therefore, the Lord himself shall give you a sign: Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a Son, and shall call His Name Immanuel. For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given: And the government shall be upon His shoulder; and His Name shall be called “The mighty God”, “The everlasting Father.” Before the child shall know to refuse Evil, and choose Good, the land that you abhor shall be forsaken of both her kings. When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called My Son out of Egypt.
They that hate Me without a cause are more than the hairs of My head: They that would destroy Me, being my enemies wrongfully, are mighty. Then, I restored that which I took not away. Because for your sake, I have borne reproach; shame has covered My face. I am become a stranger to My brethren: For the zeal of your house has eaten Me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached You are fallen upon Me.
I am poor and sorrowful: Let your Salvation, O God, set Me up on high. This also shall please the Lord better than an ox. The humble shall see this and be glad: And your heart shall live that seek God, for God will save Zion. Behold, your King comes to you: He is just, and having Salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass. Even as the Son of Man did not come to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give His life a ransom for many.
Behold My servant, whom I uphold: I have put My Spirit upon Him, He shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. He shall not cry, nor cause His voice to be heard in the street. A bruised reed shall He not break. I the Lord have called you in righteousness and will give you for a Covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; to open the blind eyes, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house. Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: Before they spring forth, I tell you of them. Sing to the Lord a new song!
Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then shall the lame man leap as a hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing!
And Abraham said: My son, God will provide Himself a lamb. Now this was the manner in former time in Israel concerning redeeming: That you may know that the Son of Man has power on Earth to forgive sins, for the Son of Man is come to save that which was lost. And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where you are; and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you.
As Jesus Christ said: The Lord has said to Me, “You are My Son; this day have I begotten you.” The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me; because the Lord has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the meek; He has sent Me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives. My soul shall be joyful in my God; for He has clothed Me with the garments of Salvation, He has covered Me with the robe of righteousness, as a bride-groom decks himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. For, as the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so, the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.
And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for Himself. The Lord said to My Lord: Sit at My right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool. The Lord has sworn and will not repent: You are a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.
Son of Man, I send you to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that has rebelled against Me: They and their fathers have transgressed against Me. And you, Son of Man, be not afraid of them, though briers and thorns be with you. But you, Son of Man, hear what I say to you: Open your mouth, and eat. And, lo, a roll of a book was there: And there was written lamentations, and mourning, and woe. Son of Man, eat this roll and go speak to the house of Israel: But the house of Israel will not listen to you; for they will not listen to Me. When a righteous man does turn from his righteousness and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die in his sin. But you, O Son of Man, behold, they shall put bands upon you, and shall bind you with them: And I will make your tongue cleave to the roof of your mouth, that you shall not be to them a reproof.
Son of Man, your brethren, are they unto whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said: Get far from the Lord, unto us is this land given in possession. Son of Man, they that inhabit those wastes of the land of Israel speak, saying: Abraham was one, and he inherited the land; but we are many, the land is given us for inheritance. Therefore, say to them: Thus, says the Lord God; you eat with the blood, and lift up your eyes toward your idols, and shed blood, and shall you possess the land?
Son of Man, put forth a riddle, and speak a parable unto the house of Israel: Cause Jerusalem to know her abominations. Son of Man, what is the vine tree more than any tree, or than a branch which is among the trees of the forest? Behold, it is cast into the fire for fuel: Is it good for any work?
Son of Man, speak to the elders of Israel, and say: Thus, says the Lord God; “Are you come to inquire of Me? As I live, says the Lord God, I will not be inquired of by you.”
Son of Man, can these bones live? Prophesy to the wind, and say to the wind: Thus, says the Lord God; come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live. Son of Man, these bones are the whole house of Israel.
Son of Man, because Tyrus has said against Jerusalem: Aha, she is broken that was the gates of the people; she is turned to me. Therefore, thus says the Lord God: Behold, I am against you, O Tyrus, and will cause many nations to come up against you, and they shall destroy the walls of Tyrus.
Also, you Son of Man, the children of your people still are talking against you by the walls and in the doors of the houses; and speak one to another, everyone to his brother, saying: Come, and hear what is the word that comes forth from the Lord.
But, all the ends of the world shall remember and turn to the Lord: All the kindred of the nations shall worship before you. For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Here is the patience of the saints: They that keep the Commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. And you shall be named the Priests of the Lord.
I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of Man came with the clouds of Heaven, and came to the Ancient of Days, and they brought Him near before Him. For as the lightning comes out of the east, and shines even unto the west; so, shall also the coming of the Son of Man be: And then shall all the tribes of the Earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of Heaven with power and great glory. Blessed be He that comes in the Name of the Lord!
And behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like the Son of Man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle. And He was clothed with a garment dipped in blood: And His Name is called “The Word of God.” And there was given Him dominion, and glory, and a Kingdom; that all people, nations, and languages, should serve Him: His dominion is an everlasting dominion. And the Father has given Him authority to execute Judgment also, because He is the Son of Man.
