Sinners Called to be Saints

The angels who did not keep their first estate, but left their own habitation, God has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness up to the Judgment of the great Day… Just as Sodom and Gomorrah, who were giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. Likewise, filthy dreamers defile the flesh and speak evil of dignities. But these speak evil of those things which they do not know… But what they do know naturally, as brute beasts: In those things, they corrupt themselves… Woe unto them! These are they who separate themselves, sensual, not having the Spirit: Twice Dead, plucked up by the roots; raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever...

These sinners against their own souls shall be consumed: But God commends His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us; for as by one Man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous…

Thus, says the Lord: “I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. I was found by those who did not seek Me, I was made manifest to those who did not ask for Me.” This is a faithful saying: Jesus Christ came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief... Then will I teach transgressors your ways and sinners shall be converted.

The Lord our God is holy, harmless, undefiled, good and upright. Therefore, He will teach sinners in the Way... Draw close to God, and He will draw close to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts! Behold, the Lord comes to execute Judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly of all their ungodly deeds: These are murmurers walking after their own lusts and their mouth speaks great swelling words…

For you see your calling, brethren, how not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called… But you have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. So, the last shall be first, and the first last: For many are called, but few chosen…

Whom He did predestine, them He also called: and whom He called, them He also justified. Them that are sanctified in Jesus Christ are Called to be Saints, with all who in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. Christ is the Power of God and the wisdom of God: Who has saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace. And for this cause, He is the mediator of the New Testament: That by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the First Testament, they who are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

But as He who has called you is holy, so be holy; for God has not called us to uncleanness, but to holiness. You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, that you should show the praises of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light! For to this were you called: Because Christ suffered for us, leaving us an example; you should follow His steps, that you would walk worthy of God, who has called you to His Kingdom and glory!

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal Life, to which you are called, not rendering Evil for Evil, but rather blessing, knowing that you are called that you should inherit a blessing. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which you are called in one body. For there is one body, and one Spirit, even as you are called in one hope of your calling: For God has chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the Truth. Thus, you are the Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through the sanctification of the Spirit, to obedience and the sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins.

The Lord had called us to preach the Gospel to all that are beloved of God: Called to be Saints… For this is the will of God: Your sanctification, that you should abstain from fornication. You are in Jesus Christ who is made for us: Sanctification and Redemption. And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said to them, “You are not my people”; there shall they be called: The Children of the Living God...
