I will greatly rejoice in the Lord: My soul shall be joyful in my God, for He has clothed me with the garments of salvation! He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bride adorns herself with her jewels! For as the earth brings forth her bud, and as the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so, the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations!
Let us be glad and rejoice and give honour to Him: For the marriage of the Lamb is come, and His wife has made herself ready! To her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: For the fine linen is the righteousness of saints!
Then, I saw Heaven open, and behold a white horse; and He that sat upon it was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness does He judge and make war! He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: His Name is called The Word of God.
I saw the Beast, and the kings of the Earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him that sat on the horse and against His army. And the Beast was taken and with him the false prophet, that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the Beast, and them that worshipped his image. Both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone…
Then, I saw an angel come down from Heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the Dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil and Satan, and bound him a thousand years. He cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, until the thousand years should be fulfilled: For after that he must be loosed a little season.
Then, I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus and for the Word of God, who had not worshipped the Beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years! This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that has part in the first resurrection: On such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years!
But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished… And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, and shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the Earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: The number of whom is as the sand of the sea... But when they go up on the breadth of the Earth and compass the camp of the saints: Fire comes down from God out of Heaven and devours them. And the Devil that deceived them is cast into the lake of fire and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever…
Thus, says the Lord, the Redeemer, to Him whom Man despises, to Him whom the nation abhors: In a Day of Salvation have I given you for a Covenant of the people; that you may say to the prisoners, “Go forth.” They shall not hunger nor thirst, neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: For He that has mercy on them shall lead them. Of the increase of His government and peace, there shall be no end, and He shall be called the Son of the Highest: And the Lord God shall give Him the throne of His father David. And I will pour the spirit of grace and of supplications: And they shall look upon Me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for Him, as one mourns for his only son.
I heard the voice of many angels round the throne saying: Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive glory and blessing! For unto us a Son is given: And His Name shall be called “The mighty God”, “The everlasting Father”, “The Prince of Peace!”
I will make with them a Covenant of peace: And they shall dwell safely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods… I will cause the shower to come down in its season: There shall be showers of blessing! And the tree of the field shall yield her fruit, and the Earth shall yield her increase, and they shall be safe in their land! Thus, shall they know that I, the Lord their God, am with them: And you, the flock of my pasture, are men, and I am your God.
This shall be the Covenant that I will make with the house of Israel: After those days, I will put My Law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts! For they shall all know Me. I will forgive their iniquity and I will remember their sin no more.
And many nations shall come, and say: Come, and let us go up to the house of the God of Jacob; for He will teach us His ways, and we will walk in His paths! He shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning-hooks: Nation shall not lift-up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore.
Thus, will say the Lord: I will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem and it shall be called a city of Truth. And the temple and the sanctuary will have two doors. The priests that approach the Lord shall eat the most holy things: There shall they lay the meat offering and the sin offering. And the glory of the Lord will come into the house by the way of the gate toward the east, the place of My throne and the place of the soles of My feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel forever! The gate of the outward sanctuary toward the east is shut, it is for the Prince: He shall sit in it to eat bread before the Lord. And the name of the city from that Day shall be: The Lord is there.
