Blood Covenant

Behold, the Almighty comes out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the Earth for their iniquity: The Earth will disclose her blood and will no more cover her slain.

Thus, says God Almighty: The voice of your brother’s blood cries to Me from the ground. Who sheds Man's blood, by Man shall his blood be shed: For in His own image did God make Man. And now you are cursed from the Earth, which has opened her mouth to receive your brother's blood from your hand. You shall not pollute the land where you are: For blood defiles the land and the land cannot be cleansed of the blood that is shed there but can only be cleansed by shedding the blood of him that shed it.

Between blood and blood, between law and Commandment: You shall warn them that they should not trespass against the Lord, so that wrath does not come upon you: For the blood of your lives will I require, at the hand of every man's brother will I require the life of Man. Thus, blood shall be imputed to that man: He has shed blood and that man shall be cut off from among his people.

Moreover, you shall eat no blood in any of your dwellings. And any man who eats any kind of blood, I will even set my face against that soul that eats blood and will cut him off from among his people. For the life of the flesh is in the blood and I have given it to make an atonement for your souls: For it is blood that makes an atonement for the soul. Thus, flesh with its life, which is its blood, shall you not eat.

The Lord prevents you from shedding blood and from avenging yourself with your own hand. Thus, says the Lord: To Me belongs vengeance; their foot shall slide in due time, for the day of their calamity is at hand. For the Lord shall judge His people and He shall say: Where are their gods, I will make my arrows drunk with blood; that the blood of the slain from the beginning is avenged upon the enemy. Rejoice, O nations: For God will avenge the blood of His servants and will be merciful to His people.

He that kills a Man shall be put to death, for he is a murderer: The avenger of blood shall slay the murderer. You bloody man, man of Belial: The Lord shall return his blood upon your own head.

Then there was a famine and the Lord said: It is for his bloody house; that I may avenge the blood of My servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the Lord; for they filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, which the Lord will not pardon.

Thus, says the Lord: The indignation is upon all nations. The sword of the Lord is filled with blood, for it is the Day of the Lord’s vengeance and the year of reward. And all flesh shall know that I, the Lord, Am your Saviour and your Redeemer. For your hands are defiled with blood, your lips have spoken lies, your tongue has muttered perverseness. You have brought into My sanctuary strangers, uncircumcised in heart, to pollute it, and they have broken My covenant because of all your abominations.

They build up Zion with blood, and Jerusalem with iniquity: Woe to him that builds a town with blood and establishes a city by iniquity! The Man of Sin shall speak of peace to the heathen: And his dominion shall be from sea to sea, and from the river to the ends of the Earth. As for you also, by the blood of your covenant, I have sent forth your prisoners out of the pit where there is no water. I declare that I will render double to you: You serpents, generation of vipers, how can you escape the damnation of Hell? Behold, I send to you prophets: And some of them, you shall kill and crucify, and some of them you shall persecute from city to city: That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the Earth. Thus, the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, will be required of this generation. And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. How much more when I send my four sore judgments upon Jerusalem: The sword, the famine, the noisome beast, and the pestilence, to cut off from it Man and beast?

And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. Then all the people said: His blood be on us and on our children. And when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration. And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the Earth: O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you that kill the prophets, how often would I have gathered your children together and you would not!

Your mother is like a vine in your blood, planted by the waters: She was fruitful and full of branches because of many waters. Israel was holiness to the Lord and the first fruits of His increase: Evil shall come upon them, says the Lord. What iniquity have your fathers found in Me, that they are gone far from Me, and have become vain? Yet I had planted you a noble vine: How then are you turned into the degenerate plant of a strange vine unto Me? Also, in your skirts is found the blood of the souls of the poor innocents.

And when I passed by you and saw you polluted in your own blood, I said: Live. I covered your nakedness: I swore to you and entered into a Covenant with you, says the Lord God, and you became Mine. Then I washed you with water, I thoroughly washed away your blood and I anointed you with oil. But you have taken your sons and your daughters, whom you have borne unto Me, and these have you sacrificed to be devoured. Is this one of your whoredoms a small matter: That you have slain my children and delivered them to cause them to pass through the fire? Thus, says the Lord God: Because your filthiness was poured out, and your nakedness discovered through your whoredoms with all the idols of your abominations, and by the blood of your children, which you gave to them: I will judge you, and I will give you blood in fury.

For true and righteous are the Lord’s judgments: For He has judged the great whore, which did corrupt the Earth with her fornication, and has avenged the blood of His servants at her hand. Of how much sorer punishment, shall he be thought worthy, who has trodden underfoot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the Covenant, with which He was sanctified, an unholy thing, despite the Spirit of grace?

The kings of the Earth and all the inhabitants of the world would not have believed that the adversary would enter Jerusalem: For the sins of her prophets, and the iniquities of her priests, that have shed the blood of the just in its midst. They have polluted themselves with blood.

The Lord will wash away the filth of the daughters of Zion and will purge the blood of Jerusalem from its midst by the spirit of judgment and by the spirit of burning: For every battle is with garments rolled in blood, but this will be with burning and fuel of fire. A man that does violence to the blood of any person shall flee to the pit.

Thus, says the Lord God: The city sheds blood in its midst, that her time may come, and makes idols against herself to defile herself. You have become guilty in your blood that you have shed and have defiled yourself in your idols which you have made; and you have caused your days to draw near: Therefore, have I made you a reproach to the heathen and a mocking to all countries.

Behold, the princes of Israel, for their power to shed blood. Her princes in its midst are like wolves ravening to shed blood, and to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain. In your midst, they commit lewdness. In you, have they taken gifts to shed blood; you have taken usury and increase, and you have greedily gained of your neighbours by extortion, and have forgotten Me, says the Lord God. Therefore, thus says the Lord God: Woe to the bloody city!

I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the Word of God, and for the testimony which they held. And they cried with a loud voice: How long, O Lord, holy and true, until you judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the Earth? These are they who came out of great tribulation. And they overcame Satan by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they did not love their lives unto the death.

Now, Son of Man, will you judge the bloody city? You shall show her all her abominations.

Hear, O my people: I am God, for every beast of the forest is mine. Will I drink the blood of goats? Offer to God thanksgiving: And call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will glorify Me. To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto Me? When you make many prayers, I will not hear: Your hands are full of blood.

God that made the world and all that is in it, seeing that He is the Lord of Heaven and Earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands; neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, seeing He gives life and breath and all things to all; and has made of one blood all nations of men to dwell on all the face of the Earth.

There is no one that understands, there is no one that seeks God. There is none that does good, no, not one. With their tongues, they have used deceit; their feet are swift to shed blood: Destruction and misery are in their ways and the way of peace have they not known. There is no fear of God before their eyes.

For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God; being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God has set forth to be a propitiation through faith in His blood, to declare His righteousness for the remission of sins that are past. Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ? For a testament is in force after men are dead: Otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator lives. Neither was the first testament dedicated without blood. For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the Law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people, saying: This is the blood of the testament which God has enjoined unto you. And almost all things are by the Law purged with blood: Without shedding of blood, there is no remission.

Jesus Christ, who is the image of the invisible God, has made peace through the blood of His cross, to reconcile all things to Himself: In whom we have redemption through his blood, that is the forgiveness of sins. Behold the blood of the Covenant, which the Lord has made with you concerning all these words. It is the blood of the sin offering for atonement: It is most holy to the Lord. And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where you are: And when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you, to destroy you when I smite the land. The Lord will pass over the door and will not suffer the destroyer to come in your houses to smite you.

Now this I say, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither does corruption inherit what is not corrupt. You were not redeemed with corruptible things, but with the precious blood of Christ, as a lamb without blemish and without spot: Who was foreordained before the foundation of the world but was manifest in these last times for you. For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

As the children are of flesh and blood, thus The Word was made flesh and the Christ also took part of the same; that through death He might destroy him that had the power of Death, that is, the devil. By His own blood he entered the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. And He is clothed with a garment dipped in blood: And His Name is called “The Word of God.”

And Jesus took the cup of wine, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying: Drink all of it; for this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. Unless you drink, you have no life in you. It is the spirit that quickens; the flesh gains nothing: The words that I speak to you, they are spirit, and they are life.

And on My servants and on My handmaidens, I will pour out in those days of My Spirit, and they shall prophesy: And I will show wonders in Heaven above, and signs in the Earth beneath. And it shall come to pass, that whoever shall call on the Name of the Lord shall be saved. Be careful of yourselves, and of all the flock, over which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to feed the church which the Lord has purchased with His own blood: When a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die: Because you have not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at your hand. A Man that has a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall be put to death: Their blood shall be upon them. If a man also lies with mankind, as he lies with a woman, both have committed an abomination: They shall be put to death, their blood shall be upon them.

Therefore, now amend your ways and obey the voice of the Lord your God; and the Lord will repent of the evil that he has pronounced against you. But write to them: That they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood. For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Above all, take the shield of faith, with which you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the Wicked. And take the helmet of Salvation, and the sword of the Spirit: Which is the Word of God.

May the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, through the blood of the everlasting Covenant, make you perfect in every good work to do His will.
