God says to the snow: Be thou on the Earth; likewise, to the small rain, and to the great rain of His strength. He seals up the hand of every Man; that all men may know His work. Then the beasts go into dens and remain in their places. Out of the south comes the whirlwind: And cold out of the north. By the breath of God, frost is given: And the breadth of the waters is straitened. And it is turned around by His counsels: That they may do whatever He commands them upon the face of the world on the Earth.
He sends forth His Commandment upon Earth, His Word runs very swiftly: Thou shalt not make any graven image, or any likeness ofanything that is in Heaven above, or that is on Earth beneath, or that is in the water under the Earth: Thou shalt not bow down to them, nor serve them.
God gives snow like wool: He scatters the hoarfrost like ashes. He casts forth His ice like morsels: Who can stand before His cold? He sends out His Word and melts them: He causes His wind to blow, and the waters flow.
As the cold of snow in the time of harvest, sois a faithful messenger: For he refreshes the soul of his masters. As cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country.
Your crowned are as the locusts, and your captains as the great grasshoppers, which camp in the hedges in the cold day; but when the sun arises, they flee away, and it is not known where they are. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold…
Such are these people, who, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they do not understand; and they shall utterly perish in their own corruption. Let their heart be changed from Man's and let a Beast's heart be given to them: So that the living may know that the Most-High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whoever He will, and sets up over it the basest of men.
The carpenter marks with the compass and makes a god, then he worships it; he makes it a graven image, and falls down to it and prays to it, saying: Deliver me; for you are my god. Thus, he feeds on ashes: For a deceived heart has turned him aside, so that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say: Is there not a lie in my right hand?
Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible Man, and birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things. Therefore, God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: For they changed the Truth of God into a lie and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator.
I perceive that in all things you are too superstitious. Know that God, who made the world and all things, is Lord of Heaven and Earth: Thus, He does not dwell in temples made with hands, neither is worshipped with men's hands; as though He needed anything, for He gives life to all, and breath, and all things. He is not far from every one of us: For in Him we live, and move, and have our being. As we are the offspring of God, we should not think that the Godhead is like gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and by Man's device.
You worship you do not know what: We do know that God does not hear sinners, but if any Man is a worshipper of God and does His will, him He hears.
Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, being vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind. Confounded be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols: Worship Him, all you gods.
Listen to Me, all who are borne by Me from the belly: To whom will you liken Me, and make Me equal, and compare Me, that we may be alike? Then He said: The iniquity of the house of Israel is exceedingly great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: For they say, the Lord has forsaken the Earth. Thus, Jesus said: The hour comes, when you shall neither in this mountain, nor at Jerusalem, worship the Father. But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeks such to worship Him. God is a Spirit, so they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth; being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible: By the Word of God, who lives and abides forever.
The Word is close to you, in your mouth and in your heart. Every word of God is pure: He is a shield to them that put their trust in Him. The Lord gave the Word: Great was the company of those that published it. Thus, the Word of God grew mightily and prevailed.
The devil says: All things will I give you, if you will fall down and worship me. And he had power to give life to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
I looked, and behold, an ashen horse; and he who sat on it had the name Death; and Hades was following him. Authority was given to them over a fourth of the Earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by the wild beasts of the Earth. And the rest of the men who were not killed by these plagues, still did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils: Neither did they repent of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication.
Thus, it came to pass in the sixth year, in the sixth month, in the fifth day of the month, that the hand of the Lord God fell upon me.Then I beheld, and lo a likeness as the appearance of fire: From the appearance of His loins even downward, fire. And He put forward the form of a hand and brought me into the visions of Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that looks towards the north; where was the seat of the image of jealousy, which provokes to jealousy: The image of the Beast. He said to me: Son of Man, do you see what they do? The great abominations that the house of Israel commits here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? But turn yet again, and you shall see greater abominations. So, I went in and saw; and behold every form of creeping things, and abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, portrayed upon the wall around. Then He brought me to the door of the gate of the Lord’s house towards the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz. At the door of the temple of the Lord, were men with their faces towards the east; and they worshipped the sun.
Then, behold, six men came from the Way of the higher gate, which lies north, each with a slaughter weapon in his hand; and they stood beside the brazen altar. And the Lord said to one: Go through the midst of Jerusalem and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that are done in its midst. And to the others He said: Go after him through the city, and smite; let not your eye spare, neither have pity. Slay utterly old and young, both little children and women; but do not come near any Man upon whom is the mark; and begin at My sanctuary. And it was commanded to them that they should not hurt the grass of the Earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men who do not have the seal of God in their foreheads.
Then Jesus said: Get out, Satan; for it is written: “Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shalt thou serve. Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.” Then, those that worshipped his image were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
Then, I saw under the altar, the souls of them that were slain for the Word of God: They did not rebel against His Word. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was God: The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, thus grace and Truth came by Jesus Christ. By the Word of the Lord were the Heavens made; and all the host of them, by the breath of His mouth. Lord, you have magnified your Word above all your Names: And He was clothed with a garment dipped in blood, and His Name is called: TheWord of God.
Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which appear. God has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, by whom also He made the worlds: Who, being the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the Word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, he sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high. For there are three that bear record in Heaven: The Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one.
Thus, says the Lord, your Redeemer and He that formed you from the womb: I am the Lord who makes all things; that stretches forth the Heavens alone, that spreads abroad the Earth by Myself. Look to Me and be saved, all the ends of the Earth: For I am God and there is none else. I have sworn by Myself, the Word is gone out of My mouth in righteousness and shall not return: That to Me every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall swear. I Am God and there is none like Me: Declaring the End from the Beginning, because I knew that you are obstinate; I have even from the Beginning declared it to you: Before it came to pass, I showed you; lest you should say, my idol has done them, and my graven image, and my molten image has commanded them. How should My Name be polluted? I will not give My glory to another: For there is one God, andone mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
And the loftiness of Man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: And the Lord alone shall be exalted in that Day. And the idols, He shall utterly abolish. They shall go into caves, for fear of the Lord, when He arises to shake terribly the Earth. In that Day, Man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made to worship, to the moles and to the bats.
Fear God and give glory to Him; for the hour of His Judgment is come: Worship Him that made Heaven, and Earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. As for us, we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the Word.
And God said: If you continue in My Word, then you are My disciples indeed; and you shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall make you free. The grass withers, the flower fades: But the Word of our God shall stand forever!
